Lonnie F. McDonald, 59, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born on January 12, 1965, in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Mike McDonald and Mary Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deanna McDonald. Lonnie was an iron worker for the Iron Workers Union. He is survived by his wife, Danielle McDonald; sons, Lonnie (Ashley) McDonald of Chesapeake, OH, and Alex (Alexis) McDonald, also of Chesapeake, OH; daughter, April (Chris) McDonald of Chesapeake, OH; 12 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Michael, Tracy, Scotty, and Larry McDonald all of Chesapeake, OH; sisters, Sarah McDonald of Chesapeake, OH, Andrea Jones of Chesapeake, OH, Tammy Runyon, of Cleveland, OH, and Terri Duprey of Cleveland, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lonnie liked to garden and spend time with his grandkids. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Rosemont Memorial Gardens in Huntington, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com
