Lorena Kathryn Petro's Obituary
Lorena Kathyrn Petro, 49, of Milton, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. Born on February 8, 1974, in Huntington, WV, she was a daughter of Charlette R. Chester and the late Charles I. F. Chester. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles F. Chester; husband, Charles M. Petro, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Charley and Margie Cumpston, and her paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Chester. Lorena was a member of Greenbottom Missionary Baptist Church in Lesage, WV. She is survived by her son, Charles M. Petro III; mother, Charlette R. Chester; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Peggy Chester; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Carolyn Petro; mother and father-in-law, Chuck and Brenda Petro, and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastors David Blake and Larry Yost, officiating.
