Lucille Rowe Swann's Obituary
Lucille Rowe Swann, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Friday January 5, 2018 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. She was born December 10, 1929 in Huntington, WV to the late John and Gladys L. Smith Rowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Swann; two sons Steve and Glenn Allen Swann; and seven siblings. She was a retired LPN of 25 years from Pleasant Valley Hospital. Lucille was a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville and Proctorville Women’s Willing Worker. She is survived by six grandchildren Heather Pilcher, Melissa Haggai, Dani Agostini, Andi Locklear, Cody Swann and Zachary Swann; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday January 8, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Mike Smith and Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Monday January 8, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington or First Baptist Church of Proctorville.
