Mallory Lynn Whitley's Obituary
Mallory Lynn Whitley, 73, of South Point, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2024, at River Run Healthcare in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. Born on January 21, 1951, in Ironton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Hobert Morrison Henson Sr. and Effie Lucille Carson Henson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Hobert, Henson Jr. and Orville Henson. Mallory resided in Sarasota, Florida, for 20 years. She graduated from Chesapeake High School in 1969 and earned an associate degree from Ohio University Southern in 1993. Mallory is survived by her daughter, Michelle Moore; brother, Tommy (Angie) Henson; 2 sisters-in-law, Lola Ellis Henson, and Marilyn Hughes Slone; special sister-in-law, Bambi Wells Henson; her beloved cat, Duchess, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dawn Keller and the Millhouse family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Keith Watters, officiating.
