Marc Ross' Obituary
Marc Ross, 64, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Friday February 5th. He was born in 1956 to Doris Gool and Thurman Ross. Marc spent his childhood growing up with his maternal grandparents, Faye and George Gool. Marc graduated from Fairland High School where he made many lifelong friends. Marc was retired from the Asbestos Workers Union Local #48, he was also a member of the Ohio Valley Masonic Lodge #536 in Crown City, Ohio. He was an avid motorcyclist taking many trips on his Harley Davidson, also enjoyed fishing, golfing and never met a stranger. He is survived by his children, Ashley Ross and Anthony Ross, daughter in law Kara Ross and grandsons Alec and Vincent, His brothers, Steve Gool and Lakie "Butch" Burns, and sister Renee Broughton. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow. No visitation will be held.
