Maria Shantel Simpkins' Obituary
Maria Shantel Simpkins, 26, passed away on July 5, 2019 at St. Marys hospital. She was born on July 1, 1993 in Huntington WV, the daughter of William and Mary Simpkins. Maria was always full of life. She lit up any room she walked into. If Maria was happy and smiling, you were laughing and smiling because her personality was so contagious. Maria tried to see the light even through the darkest times. She had a deep love and connection with animals. Sometimes I think she liked animals more than she did people. She had such a kind soul and so much love to give. She will be missed every second of every day. Maria is survived by her daughter Malaya; fianc Woodrow Kincaid; her loving mother Mary; her sister Jamie, and two brothers William and Eric. Maria was preceded in death by her father William Simpkins. Funeral services will be held at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio at 2 p.m. Friday July 11, 2019. Visitation will be held one hour before. Burial will follow at Vance-Sanders Cemetery in West Hamlin, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
