Marianne Layman's Obituary
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, Marianne Layman, 54, of Chesapeake, Ohio peacefully transitioned from her earthly cocoon into a beautiful butterfly and flew into Heaven. She leaves behind her husband, Billy Layman; children, Richie (Sammi) Snodgrass, Corey (Marissa) Layman, Ashley Hammonds (Lonnie) McDonald, Gage Layman, Alexis Layman, and Elesia Snodgrass; mother, Peggy Davis “Nanny”, three sisters, Amy Snodgrass Crawford, Eva (Kendall) Pennington, and Shawnee (Bruce) Jeffreys, brother and sister-in-law, Allen (Mindy) Snodgrass, mother-in-law, Brenda Black, father-in-law, Bob Black, father-in-law, James (Lisa) Layman, brother-in-law, Jeff Layman, many nieces and nephew Taryn and Johnathon Pedro, Carter Snodgrass and Shanelle Caines, Anthony Burks, Ryan Christian, Ali Page Maddox, Shelby, Emily, and Jacob Snodgrass; best friend, Rhoda Smith; work family friend, Amber Smiley, fur babies, Emma, Jasper, Willow and Gigi; along with a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Terry Davis and her grandmother, Mary Blankenship. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Dennis Bills officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemont Memorial Gardens, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home. The pallbearers will be Richie Snodgrass, Jeff Layman, Larry Blankenship, Allen Snodgrass, Corey Layman and Johnathon Pedro and honorary pallbearer Bruce Jeffreys.
