Marilyn Hairston Brisco's Obituary
Marilyn Hairston Brisco, 70, of Huntington, WV gained her angel wings February 23 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. She was born on October 27, 1948 in Greenup, KY. She was preceded in death by her mother Demetrise Curry and father James Leftridge; nephew Melvin Courts Jr and great granddaughter Kaleeia Hill. She leaves behind her mourning husband Melvin Brisco, beloved kids, son Andre Hairston, daughters Sharmein Sloan, Christine Ulonda France and Audrana Hairston; seven grandchildren Crystal, Natalya, Kirk, William Jr., Taylor, Demetrise and Zavier; six great grandkids, Nakaila, Jaleeia, Isaiah, Sheldon Jr., Ben, Patrick Jr. and Kaia; sisters Shelli, Rhonda, Arlene, Vanessa, Regina, Vicky, Sherri and Sandra; brothers Edward, Timothy and Ronnie; and a host of Nieces, nephews and friends. Marilyn graduated from Huntington High School in 1967. She was a retired Supervisor from Kroger's deli department. She loved to spend time with her friends and family and no matter what occasion or who she was with she was the life of the party, always on the dance floor. Our Queen has departed this earth but will forever be in our heart Mom, Moma, Granny you will be truly missed, we love you. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019 at Full Gospel Assembly Church, 2101 10th Avenue Huntington, WV 25703 with Rev. James A. Harris officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com. Repassing for family and friends will be at 918 Hal Greer Blvd, Huntington WV, immediately following the service.
