Marion "Bud" Casto's Obituary
Marion "Bud" Casto, 85, of Hamilton, Ohio, formerly of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at his residence. Born on March 23, 1939, in Spencer, WV, he was the son of the late Haymond and Frances Waldeck Casto. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 siblings. Bud was retired from Kentucky Power and was a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Garnet Romine Casto; daughter, Vicki (Jeff) Gauger of Hamilton, Ohio; 3 grandchildren, Benjamin (Lauren) Gauger, Natalie (Brett) Paschke, and Brent (Elizabeth) Gauger, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother Danny (Donna) Casto; one sister Penny (David) Joseph, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio, with Pastor Richard Tanner, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bud's honor to the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter at https://donate.hcwanimalshelter.com.
