Mark Allen Clay's Obituary
Mark Allen Clay, Jr., 41, of Huntington, WV, passed away Sunday September 26, 2021. He was born July 29, 1980 son of Mark Clay Sr. and Sandra (Paul) Winkler. He was preceded in death by grandmother Aretta Jean Rood, grandmother Devetta Johnson, grandfather Ivan Johnson, great grandmother Nettie Anderson, and uncle Chuck Rood. In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandfather Charles Rood Sr. of Huntington; aunts Brenda (Walt) Schroder of Proctorville and Charlotte (Eddie) Lowe of Chesapeake; uncles Matt (Jennifer) Rood of Proctorville and Jeff Rood of Ashland, KY; cousins Austin, Paige, Davon, Chase, Angie, Caleb, Hayden, Gavin, Olivia, and Riley; great aunts and uncles Robert (Chuck) Copen of Proctorville, Margo (Floyd) Winkler of Huntington, Joan (Bobby) Barker of Proctorville, Gwen (the late Terry) Turner of Coal Grove, and George (Donna) Anderson of South Point, Ohio; and too many friends to name so thank you for loving him. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio.
