Mark William King

Mark departed this life at the age of 63. He was the youngest of 3 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis W. and Rachel L. King; Sister, Mary Rebecca (Beckey) Chapman and nephew, LeRon S. Chapman.
Mark graduated from Huntington High school and later received an Asssociates Degree in Addiction Studies from Kanawha Valley Community and Technical college.
Mark had a gregarious personality and never met a stranger. He treasured his time with family and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Mark was a loyal fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Commanders (Red Skins) for many years. He could often be seen wearing their team attire which he loved. Those that know Mark knew that he was very particular about his clothes and always paired his outfits with numerous hats.
Mark is survived by his wife, Juanita; one son, Mark Anthony; 5 grandchildren, Braylee, Londyn, Journee, Makayla and Chase; Sister, Loretta (Albert) Ford; 3 nephews , Andre, Brian & Brandon Ford; Mother In-Law, Helen M. Hall; Sister In-Law, Tina(William) Garrett; brother In-Law, Tony Phillips and a host of additional relatives and friends.
You will be missed and never forgotten.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2023 at First Baptist Church 801 6th Ave. Huntington, WV. Visitation will be on hour prior to the service.
