Mark Vinson Smith, 58, of Kenova, WV passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025, at home. He was born December 12, 1966, in Wayne, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Rhoda Ward Smith; two daughters, Shaelyn Ferguson and Kara Smith; one son, Joshua Smith; three grandchildren, Jalayah Sadler, Aleesia Norwood, and Kashton Smith; his father, Arthur Vinson Smith; a sister, Jennifer Brannock; a brother, Matthew Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Sharron Smith; one son, Chase Matthew Smith and a nephew, Tyler Napier. He was a retired welder from ACF Industries. A memorial gathering will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
