Martha "Farfy" Louise Brown's Obituary
Martha "Farfy" Louise Brown, 67, of Huntington, WV, passed from this life into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at home. She was born on November 8, 1956, in Huntington, WV, to Carl "Hotdog" Corns and Virginia Mae Corns. Martha was preceded in death by her father Carl Corns; husband Sam Brown; one stepson Sambo Brown; one brother Ronnie Corns; one brother-in-law Gory L. Browning; one sister-in-law Belvie Jane Evans; and four nephews Brad Perry, Shane Corns, Greg Hatfield, and Anthony (Tony) Browning. Martha is survived by her soulmate Thurman E. Browning; mother Virginia M. Corns; two sons Michael (Susanne) Corns and Larry Dale Spangler; two stepchildren Eric (Jaime) Browning and Dennae Boyd; five sisters Penny Bailey, Corky Perry (Bill), Toni Asbury (Wilmer), Marsha Brumfield, and Kathy Wellman (Rick); in laws Andrew (Rita) Browning, Sena (Melve) Lowe and Levonda Browning. Martha was a wonderful grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is survived by her best friend Vicki Brumfield House. She also had many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends. Martha was a happy, carefree person with a great sense of humor. She had a knack for making people laugh even when they did not feel like laughing. She loved her family dearly and was always ready to help anyone. Her dog Gidget and her two cats were her pride and joy. Martha was loyal, faithful, and dependable. Her Christian faith was strong till the end. Always thanking God for the blessings she was given. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Eric "Tubby" Rakes and Angel Fry officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at Browning Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
