Martha Johnson's Obituary
Martha Johnson, 95, of Huntington WV passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Heritage Center of Huntington. She was born November 15, 1924 in Covington, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard Wiley and Mary Lucy Martin, husbands William Garrett and William Johnson, ten siblings, three children William Garrett Jr, Linda K. Garrett, and Richard Garrett, granddaughter Melanie Candy Garrett, great-grandson Donte’ Lee Ward, and many other family members and friends. She is survived by her two daughters Peggy Howard and her two children, Theodore, Harold, and Cinamon, and Dorothy Jackson and her children, Phillip Ward, Tina Ward, Janet Cartes, and Tiffany Jackson, two adopted children Martha D. Johnson and William E. Johnson, host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, family, and friends. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Huntington, West Virginia and worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center in the lab many years ago. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 4 P.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
