Martin Lee Stapleton Sr.'s Obituary
Martin Lee Stapleton, Sr., 60, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Ironton, Ohio Campus. He was born September 3, 1958 in Lawrence County, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Stapleton; brother Harold Stapleton, Jr; and sister Lavota Stapleton. He is survived by three sons Martin (Ashley) Stapleton, Jason Stapleton and Wilber (Tammy) Stapleton all of Ironton, Ohio; fiance’ Terri Gilmore; one sister Sheila Stapleton of Washington Court House, Ohio; two brothers Victor Stapleton of Ironton, Ohio and Kenneth Stapleton both of Ironton, Ohio; his mother Betty Oliver of Winfield, AL; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at Getaway Community Church, Chesapeake, Ohio with Pastor Justin Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Buckeye Cemetery, Ohio Furnace, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
