Marvin Gayle Henson, 77, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at The Lantern at Morning Pointe, Russell, KY. He was born on November 24, 1945, in Huntington, WV, to the late Ottie and Georgia McCormick Henson. He was preceded in death by his wife Verna Henson; four siblings Fred Henson, Ottie Lee Henson, Elizabeth McCormick, and Lula Blake; and granddaughter Angie Singfield. He is survived by daughter Sue Crites (Jim); son Marvin Henson (Stephanie); grandchildren Brad Crites, Owen Crites, Abigayle Crites, Noah Crites, Haleigh Henson, Brianna Henson, and Nathan Henson; four great grandchildren; and sister Donna Wyric (Ed). Graveside Service will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Mitch Webb officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
