Mary Jane Blevins' Obituary
Mary Jane Blevins, 82, of Huntington, WV passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at home. She was born July 10, 1940, in Huntington, WV daughter of the late John D. and Helen D. Brown Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Freddie E. Blevins; three brothers, Paul Walker, Richard Walker and Roger Walker; and one sister, Stella Gibson. Mary is survived by her husband, Teddy G. Blevins; three children, Debora Whitley, Timothy Blevins, and Danny R. Blevins; eight grandchildren, Jodi Whitley, Joshua and Scarlett Whitley, Timothy L. Blevins, II, Carrie Blevins, Kandi, Meghan, Crystal and Sabrina; 14 great grandchildren, Christian, Jemma, Matthew, Makenzie, Angel, Shawna, Jerimiah, Tyler, Nikka, Cameron, Brice, Chyanne, Brooklyn and Breanne; three siblings, Robert Walker, Johnny Walker, and Linda Gene Runyon. Mary worked ten years at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV followed by becoming a self-employed business owner, Blevins Roofing, from 1987 until her retirement in 2014. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio will Pastor Pete Shultis officiating. Burial will follow in Crooks Chapel Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home.
