Mary Frances “Fran” Whitley, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born February 8, 1937 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Aubry and Mar Read Obituary
Fran was a very special lady. I knew her through the Eastern Star and the Village Floral. Even though I moved to California in 1975, I still called the Village Floral and ordered flowers whenever I needed to. I loved her personal touch. My thoughts and prayers are with Lee and the rest of the family members.
Fran ( and Lee) had the most wonderful floral shop all of those years! She was so talented and they were so good together! I did a lot of business with them thru the years and was always so welcome when I saw them. They always were helpful, smiling and kind! The world needs - always - more people like the two of them...and we were so blessed to have know her (and Lee)! I am so sorry for her family's - and the community's loss....

We have lost a very dear friend. Fran and Lee traveled together to Eastern Star functions, we went on vacations together, played games, went out to eat and most of all were sisters in Christ. She will be sadly missed. Praying that God will give Lee and all the family comfort.
