Mary Evelyn Hamlin's Obituary
Mary Evelyn Hamlin, 85, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Barboursville, WV to the late Homer and Marie (Elkins) Morrison. Mary was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Morrison Jr. and Paul Morrison; two sisters, Betty McCallister and Sissy Perry. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Hamlin; one daughter, Tammy (Mike) Dement; two sons, Darrell (Gina) Hamlin and Daren (Candi) Hamlin; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one sister, Rita Johnson; 3 brothers, Guy Morrison, Lonnie Morrison and John Morrison; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Burial will follow at Getaway Cemetery.
