Mary Lou Lyons' Obituary
Mary Lou Lyons, 77, of Huntington, WV passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born January 12, 1947, in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret Boyer Tomlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Donald Lyons, Sr; a brother, Arnold Tomlin, Jr; one grandson, Keith Nicholas Blake; and a special Aunt Arlene Smail. Mary was an active member of First Church of the Nazarene. She retired from Big Bear and Harts, and after her retirement she was a self-employed businesswoman since 1985. She is survived by one daughter, Kristy (Rodney) Clay of Proctorville, Ohio; one son Clifford Donald Lyons, Jr of Huntington, WV; special grandchildren, Ethan Lyons, Joshua Lyons, and Rebecca Blake all of Huntington, WV; three sisters, Lucille Ahrendt of Indiana, Jackie Wheelock (John) of Florida, and Angie Coleman of Texas; one brother, John Tomlin of Huntington, WV; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Paula Cremeans of Huntington, WV and Pamee Simpkins of Huntington, WV. Funeral service will be conducted on 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
