Mary Elizabeth O'Field, 86, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at her residence. Born on August 11, 1937, in Wheelersburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Zella Crabtree Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Jimmie" O'Field; brother, Noble Baker, and sister, Irene Johnson Tharpe. Mary is survived by her daughter, Valeri O'Field; son, Jimmie Ray O'Field; daughter-in-law, Jenny O'Field; 3 grandchildren, Dustin O'Field, whom she thought of as a son, Leauna O'Field, and Shanda (Lee) Zimmerman; 4 great-grandchildren, Jada Bucy, Sydney Williams, Ava Zimmerman, and Keegan Purdom; sister-in-law, Marlene Bedker; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Susan Billups, and sister, Ruth Holland. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 11:00 A.M.
