Mary Catherine Porter's Obituary
Mary Catherine Porter, 65, of Genoa, WV, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. She was born on October 13, 1956, in Wayne Co. WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Carlyle and Glenna Ray Berry; one brother Dallas Berry; and one sister Shirley Kay Berry. She was a faithful member of New Beginnings Worship Center. She is survived by her husband Bill Porter; one daughter Laura (Les) Wilson of Proctorville, OH; one son C.J. (Mindy) Smith of Scottown, OH; eight grandchildren; four brothers Ed (Kelly) Berry, John (Bonnie) Berry, Stan Carr and Mike Asbury; sister-in-law Kyra Berry; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Locust Grove Cemetery, Scottown, OH, with Pastor Justin Berry officiating. There will be no visitation held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
