Mary Frances Rood May, 102, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born on August 22, 1923, in Huntington, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Hazel Mae Handy Rood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond May. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the 26th Street Baptist Church in Huntington. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. Entombment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
