Mary Alice Smith's Obituary
On May 23, 2020, Mary Alice Smith, age 76, of Proctorville, OH, joined her Heavenly Father after a long illness. Mary was a graduate of Fairland High School. She was employed for several years at Wilgus Insurance Agency and later at Fruth Pharmacy in Proctorville. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, decorating and spending time with family and friends and devoted considerable time over the years as caregiver for family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Rosalie Tull, her husband of 35 years, Harry C. Smith, and her long-time friend and companion, Charles Rigney, all of Proctorville. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Jeanette Bragg (fiancé Donnie Williams), grandson, Ryan Bragg, and former son-in-law, Terry Bragg, all of Newport News, VA, sister, Sharon Buckley (Robert), of Williamsburg, VA, aunt, Beverly Buchanan, of Proctorville, and several extended family members. A viewing will be held 6p.m. to 8p.m. on Friday May 29, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, OH followed by a celebration of life on May 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home, 625 State Route 775, Proctorville.
