Mary Louise Stapleton's Obituary
MARY LOUISE VAUGHN STAPLETON, 87, of Chesapeake, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 5, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. David A. Dodge officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Mary was born August 17, 1927, in Chesapeake, OH, a daughter of the late John R, Sr. and Rhoda Maybelle Thompson Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Marie Stapleton and Gail Louise Dodge; six brothers, Herschel Carlton Vaughn, William Edgar Vaughn, John Robert Vaughn, Jr., Charles Clinton "Buck" Vaughn, Oscar Arthur Vaughn, and Loren Garland "Lolly" Vaughn; six sisters, Rosa Maybelle Vaughn, Amy Elizabeth Enochs, Loma Rebecca Moyer, Margaret Eloise France, Pearl Virginia Vaughn, and Ruby Lee Crager. Mary is survived by her daughter, Sheila J. Stapleton of Chesapeake, OH; and one brother, Clarence Eugene Vaughn of Allentown, PA. She was a wonderful mother and talented musician who used her musical abilities for the glory of God. She helped numerous church groups by providing music and special singing for radio broadcasts on WEMM radio. She also enjoyed her many crafts such as crocheting and took great delight in sharing her crafts with others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
