Matilda Jane Collins, 83, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at River's Bend Health Care in Chesapeake, OH. She was born on August 30, 1935 to the late William"Birdie" and Birtha Vance Damron. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Ferguson; one sister, Josephine Damron; two brothers, William Damron and Leonard Damron. Matilda is survived by two sons, Lonnie Ferguson and Glen (Veronica) Ferguson; two grandsons, Matthew and Jonathan Ferguson; one brother, Samuel Damron; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted by her nephew, Birdie Damron at 6pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
