Matthew Dale Vance, 32, of Willow Wood, Ohio gained his angel wings and a new set of lungs on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born January 11, 1986 in Huntington, WV. Matthew is survived by his mother, Jewlie Radcliff Vance of Willow Wood, Ohio; three aunts Linda (Rick) Rucker of Benson, NC, Brenda (Tom) Martin of Fairmont, WV and Penney (Eric) Myers of Gallipolis, Ohio; five uncles Daniel Radcliff of Willow Wood, Ohio, Jack (Sheila) Radcliff of Mannington, WV, Doug Radcliff of Willow Wood, Ohio, Everett (Shalonda) Vance of Wharton, WV and David (Chandra) Vance of Fuquay-Varina, NC; and several cousins. He graduated from Symmes Valley High School in 2005. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Theodore and Geraldine Radcliff; one uncle David Radcliff; one aunt Linda Vance Myers; and paternal grandmother Helen Vance. Matthew was of Baptist faith and attended New Zion Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church. Matthew had many people who loved and cared about him. He was a fighter and loved fishing, playing video games and his guns. Funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
