Love and prayers for the family and friends of such a beautiful person.

I had the amazing opportunity to orient Missy to night shift at River Park. I was leaving my night shift position and she was taking my spot. I believe it was her first nursing position since she had decided to take a break from nursing and teach. She was a rock star, picked right up on everything, worked diligently to learn each and every thing about the position and how to care for our specific population of patients. I barely had to do much training, she actually helped me in many ways learn to be more patient lol. Missy was one in a million. Always fighting for what was best, always caring about everyone around her. She will be greatly missed by the staff at RPH and by her patients she so greatly cared for. Prayers for her family and all of those whose lives she touched.
Mrs. Davidson was my IEP teacher from elementary school all the way through high school. She was my saving grace and truly one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever known. I genuinely wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for her.
When nobody else believed in me, she did. She made sure every one of her students felt loved, safe, and at home in an environment that could sometimes feel stressful and overwhelming.
I’m 20 years old now, and I just bought my first house. I was so excited to tell her all about it, because even when others doubted me, she never did. She always believed I was capable of more.
I messaged her not long ago and told her I was thankful she’s part of my “book we call life” and I will never take that for granted.
I know she’s watching from above, and I know she’s proud of me. I’ll forever be thankful that I had the privilege of knowing and loving Mrs. Davidson.
I love you, and I’ll miss you forever.
I worked with Missy at River Park. I would see her when she would come in for night shift. We would give each other report. I always loved when Missy was my relief. Missy was always in a good mood and smiling. The patients were always happy to see her. After shift report, we would talk about our families and life. Missy was so proud of family and you could tell she loved them so much. During our time in shift reports we would laugh and talk, Missy was always a great person to talk to, just a genuine good person. I am saddened. Prayers for the family. Missy will be missed

It seems like so long ago when I stayed with your family for a softball tournament. I remember your mom and dad getting us donuts to have for breakfast and warming them up in the microwave for us. Missy was truly a joy to be around on and off the softball field, she acted like a bonus mom to all of us❤️
The countless beach trips we had in college. I also have great memories of just running around with her during our college years and after. I will also miss our friend group texts with her She had the best outlook on life and could make everyone laugh. I will miss her greatly because she was like my oldest sister. Rest in peace my beautiful friend
When I heard this horrible new that Melissa had passed away I was just so saddened that such a beautiful person was taken way too soon. She has always been such a light in this world. Her love for God, her girls, her husband, her sister, her friends and her beloved parents was always on display for everyone to see. She was quick to check on me and my family, she gave me wonderful advice, she shared her heart with me and allowed me to share mine. I will forever cherish the small amount of time I had her in my life. As no amount of time would ever be enough.
