Michael L. Hall's Obituary
Michael Hall, 58, of Ironton, Ohio, died suddenly on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. He was born May 27, 1966, in Ironton, to the late Charles and Janet Shope Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hall.
Michael was an amazing carpenter who especially enjoyed woodworking projects. His generosity was obvious to all as he charged little on the items he made for others. Sometimes he just gave them away. Proverbs 11:25 says, "A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will themselves be refreshed." Michael lived that out. Everyone knew Michael as he never met a stranger and could talk with anyone! He loved people! Because of his kind and caring nature, he would often stop by to check on family and friends making sure all was well. He attended Royersville Baptist Church on special occasions and greatly enjoyed his time there.
Michael is survived by his wife, Kimberly Hall; two daughters, Cheyenne Hall and Courtney Hall; six siblings, Roberta (Chuck) Ervin, Molly (Gary) DePriest, Cheryl Hall, Gloria (David) Rife, Bertice Hall and Charles "Peanut" Hall as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Ohio, with Pastor Kenny Kelley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ironton, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at schneiderhallfuneralhome.com.
