Michael Lee Nibert's Obituary
Michael Lee Nibert, 51, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV was born January 20th, 1975, in Gallipolis, OH and passed away on Sunday April 12th, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV after a short battle with cancer. Michael was a graduate of Pt Pleasant High School and attended Buckeye Hills Career Center in Rio Grande, Ohio. He was a member of New Life Apostolic Church under Pastor Danny Goodman. Michael was a loving husband and father. He was a former security guard at M&G Polymers located near Gallipolis Ferry, WV. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Nibert and his mother Helen Roberta Nibert (Holley). He is survived by his wife of 14 years Melissa (Smith) along with daughters Kyra (Alex) Foster of Cross Lanes, WV and Abbygail Nibert of Wheeling, WV. He has 3 granddaughters: Penelope, Charlotte, and Calliope Foster all of Cross Lanes. He is survived by his sister, Debra Ross of Columbus, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday April 18th, 2026, at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Guyandotte, WV with visitation starting 2:00 pm and service at 3:00 pm with Bishop Edwin Harper officiating.
