Aunt June was the sweetest lady that I have ever encountered. I reflect on the many visits to Ironton with my mother Hazel Carter Richardson. I ALWAYS loved spending time at Uncle Codey and Aunt June' house!!! They set a positive and fun atmosphere where you felt like you were at home. I can smell the BBQ now and seeing uncle Codey in the back yard tending to the grill and having a good time with everyone. While aunt June was in the house preparing the fixings and enjoying family. Every time I came into contact with her she was smiling. That is what I remember the most about this lovely spirit. The mere glance of her smile made me feel loved. She loved everyone and did not have a hateful our course bone in her body. I will hold onto those fond memories that I have of her. My condolences to the entire family and ask that you know how much your mother, grandmother, aunt was loved and admired by so many people.
