Myra Jean "Susie" Love's Obituary
Our dearly beloved Myra Jean “Susie” Love of Proctorville, OH, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2025. Born on June 30, 1938, to the late Marjorie Ann Adkins and Clemith Ferris, Susie was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County, OH. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she poured love into her family, finding great joy in cooking for and cherishing her children and grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Susie is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Franklin Love, and her cherished children: daughter Robin Love, and daughter Jody Shafer. She also leaves behind a treasured legacy through her grandchildren: Jarrett Shafer; Katelin (Jonah) Graybeal; Karissa (Brian) Bremer; one great- grandson Branch Graybeal; and two expected great-grandchildren and two sisters Connie Lester and Marion Rae Cooper. Her love, kindness, and beautiful smile will forever remain in the hearts and memories of her family and friends. A service to honor Susie’s life will be held at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, OH, on Tuesday April 29th, 2025, at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. The service will be officiated by Dave Saunders. She will be laid to rest at the Rome-Proctorville Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
