Nancy Josephine Black's Obituary
Nancy Josephine Black, 69, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Vada Clay McCallister, and her sister-in-law, Inetta McCallister.Nancy is survived by her husband, Bryan "Doug" Black; son, Robert (Ashley) Black of Huntington, WV; two daughters, Rebecca (Todd) Fulks of Chesapeake, OH, and Rachel (Daniel) Clarke of Nashville, TN. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Katherine Black, Norah Black, Tucker Black, Oliver Clarke, and Charlotte Clarke; two brothers, Marvin McCallister and Melvin (April) McCallister, and several nieces and nephews.Nancy attended Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ and a retired teacher from Collins Career Technical Center in Chesapeake, OH.There will be a funeral service held for Nancy on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at ehallfuneralhome.com.
