Nancy Ellen Ferris' Obituary
Nancy Ellen Ferris, 73, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. She was born on January 21, 1948 in Huntington, WV, to the late Hubert and Oakie Belle Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Ferris Ramey. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Leslie Ferris; daughter Leslie (Danny) Burcham; son Christopher (Susie) Ferris; siblings Betty (Norman) Ryder, Robert (Beverly) Stephenson, and Ruth (Sam) Melvin; seven grandchildren Elizabeth and Samantha Hall, Naomi Johnson, Hunter Burcham, Emily and Erica Ferris, and Christopher Ferris; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Monday, July 26, 2021, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Ronnie Adams officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
