Natalie Hufhand's Obituary
Natalie Hufhand, beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandma entered heaven's gates on March 12,2022 at the age of 94. Natalie was born on May 17, 1927, to Clyde and Martha Ellis of Jacksonville, North Carolina. She attended school and church there and worked as a secretary at a local oil company. There she met a young marine, Leland F. Hufhand and they were married on August 27, 1950. They moved to Greenville, S.C. to attend Bob Jones University to prepare for the ministry. They served together for 44 faithful years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, a daughter Donna Hufhand, and a daughter-in-law Melissa D. Hufhand. Later in life she lived with her daughter Bethany and son-in-law Daniel Weber, in Appomattox, Va.
She will be greatly missed by her three children, Mark L. Hufhand and daughter-in-law Patti J. Hufhand, Bethany A. Weber and husband Daniel S. Weber, and Brian L. Hufhand, her nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in her final days as they paid tribute to her, for her example of a godly woman. Her family will cherish the memories they shared with love and appreciation for their precious mother, mother-in-law, grandma, Granny, and Gigi until they meet again in glory.
Her memorial service will be held at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, Ohio on March 26, 2022. There will be a public viewing from 11-11:30, followed by a small funeral for family and close friends. Natalie attended Bible Baptist Church in Appomattox, Va. And was a prayer warrior for the ministry.
