Noel Berkley Moore's Obituary
Noel "Berkley" Moore, 90, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Born on December 9, 1933, in Lawrence County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Noel Francis Moore, and Malinda Irene Workman Bricker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ala Mae Moore and great-granddaughter, Riley Chafin. Berkley retired from ODOT and was a former member of the Southern Ohio and Gallia County Coon Hunters Association. He is survived by his children, "Tony" and Debbie Moore, Tammy Moore, Joy Ash (Travis Owens) and Holly and Jeff Keatley; 13 grandchildren, Amy and Art Bell, Chris (Olivia) Moore, Summer and Anthony Sarver, Jaime and Roger Burge, Ellen Leffingwell, Johnny and Tasha Cyrus, Stephen and Jessica Nance, Renee (Trenton) Gorby, Cassie Dement, Brady Dement, Erica (Jason) Watson, Libby (Dustin) Clark, and Eli (Shyann) Ash; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and special friend, David Blair. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Bowman, officiating.
