Norma Frances Loftis' Obituary
Norma Frances Childress Lemon Loftis, 103, of Wyngate of Proctorville, OH, formerly of Cross Lanes, WV, passed away at her residence on Monday, October 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by husbands Eugene Lemon and Ervin Loftis. Also, seven brothers; Murray, Ivan, Everett, Harvey, Carson, Carl, and Nick Childress and sister Daisy Smith. Norma retired from Macke Company at Carbide Technical Center Cafeteria, where she was known as "the salad lady". She is survived by her daughter Dianna Lemon Tomlinson (Tony), grandchildren; Kathryn Noll (Rob), Aaron Tomlinson (Danielle), Andrew Tomlinson and three great grandchildren. Norma was a longtime congregant of Cross Lanes Bible Church. Norma was a talented gardener who spent lots of time and love tending to her vegetable garden and flowers. Special thanks to Wyngate at Rivers Edge. In remembrance of Norma's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Hospice of Huntington. There will be a Graveside Service on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Graceland Memorial Park in South Charleston, WV. A visitation will take place on Friday October 20, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio.
