Opal M Harless' Obituary
OPAL M. HARLESS, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, at her residence. Funeral service will be 12 Noon Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Hannon officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, OH. Opal was born July 21, 1929, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Joe and Effie Markins Greer. She was a member of the Salvation Army in Huntington and retired from Owens-Illinois. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Raymond Harless; two sons, Billy Lowe and Warren Harless; and three grandsons, Shawn Riffle, Christopher Harless, and Dale Harless. Opal is survived by her son, Paul (Carolyn) Harless; daughter-in-law, Beverly Harless; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 AM to 12 Noon Tuesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
