Orlas K O'Neill's Obituary
Orlas K. ONeill, 84, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Salt Rock, WV passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Lake Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Indian Trails, NC. He was born July 17, 1934 in Huntington, WV son of the late Edward Ross and Helen Williams ONeill. He was a member of Merritts Creek Church of Christ and a member of Guyandotte V.F.W. Post 9738. He retired from Special Metals and was a Korean War U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Hall ONeill; two daughters Denise Hooks of Indian Trails, NC and Caroline (Matt) Schleider of Matthews, NC; one son Earl Lake of Matthews, SC; four grandchildren Jordan, Katie, Ellie and A.J.; two great grandchildren Hunter and Jax; one brother Mike (Rachael) ONeill of Flat Rock, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Minister Dave Gladwell officiating. Burial will follow in Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
