Pansy Diamond's Obituary
PANSY L. "PAT" DIAMOND, 83, of Proctorville, OH, died Monday, April 28, 2014, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Carmon officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Pat was born September 12, 1930, in Slayden, TN, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Minnie Lee Thompson Waynick. She was a retired employee of Coyne Textile and loved her flowers. Pat's kindness, gentleness, and quietness will be dearly missed by her loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Diamond; her sisters, Shirley Carpenter and Barbara Odom; and her brother, Frank Waynick. Pat is survived by her three children and their spouses, Doug and Judy Diamond, Kenny and Ella Diamond, and Jackie and LeRoy Zent; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy (Pat) Goad of TN; and her brothers, Randell (Pat) Waynick and Jimmy (Lois) Waynick all of MI. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Huntington and to her special caregiver and friend, Cathy Lucas for all the care and concern shown to Pat.
