Patricia A Barry's Obituary
Patricia A. Barry, of Crown City, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, January 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, to the late Lawrence and Anna Barry. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved son, Scott A. Barry, and by the father of her children, Lester Williams Jr., both of whom she carried in her heart every day. Above all else, Patricia loved her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was guided by kindness, quiet strength, and selfless love. She gave endlessly of herself, always putting others first, and her compassion touched everyone who knew her. Her presence, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. She leaves behind her three children: Nathan O. Williams (Sabrina), Ashley (Matt) Shinkle, and Brian (Becca) Williams; and her treasured grandchildren: Skylar Williams, Colton Williams, Jared Johnson, Kynslee Williams, Jayni Williams, Wrenly Shinkle, and Noah Williams, who brought her immense joy and pride. She is also survived by her in-laws, Odell (Jewell) Williams; her sisters-in-law, Shonda Hicks, and Danita (Jeff) Pinkerman; her nephews, Austin Roush, and Wade Hicks; several nieces; and many cousins and dear friends. Patricia also shared a loving companionship with Larry Taylor, and she is survived by Larry’s children, Keith, Marshall (Kimberly), Wally, Addy, and Jack Taylor, as well as his sisters, Charlotte, and Debbie Taylor, all of whom held a special place in her life. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, Ohio, with the service to begin at 2 p.m. to honor, celebrate, and remember Patricia’s life.
