Patricia Sue McCoy's Obituary
Patricia Sue McCoy, 76, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born November 20, 1943 in Landville, WV to the late Garland and Odell Harless Lyall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William L. McCoy, sister Anna Mae Workman, and sister Barbara Adams. She was a retired waitress, having worked at Bob Evans restaurant in Huntington, WV for over 20 years. She was a member of Community Chapel Church, Proctorville, Ohio. Pat will be remembered for her love of her family and her church. In addition to spending time with her children and their families, she enjoyed playing cards with best friends, Barbara Adams (her sister) and Delbert “Junior” Adams (her brother-in-law). She is survived by one daughter, Shom McCoy of Huntington, WV; two sons Troy (Christine) McCoy of Lake Wylie, SC, and Terry (Katherine) Tiller of Mooresville, NC; five grandchildren Nikala McCoy, Jacob McCoy, Briana Lee, Callie Tiller, Trey McCoy; two step-grandchildren, Sophie Labbon and Sara Labbon; three great grandchildren, Joshua Newman, Kaylin Newman and Kayson Newman; numerous nephews and nieces; one brother Jerry Lyall of Ironton, Ohio; one sister Margaret “Genevieve” Workman of Richie County, WV, one brother(-in-law) Delbert “Junior” Adams. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Community Chapel Church, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Carl Black and her nephew, Jason Adams officiating.
