Patricia M. Short, 26, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on January 2, 2026, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born on November 13, 1999, in Huntington, WV to Candy Long and the late Ronald Short Jr. Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her grandfather Ronald Short Sr. She was a 2019 Chesapeake High School graduate. She loved animals, music, and her fur babies Princess and Barnabas. She is survived by her mother Candy Long of Proctorville, OH; Brothers Cody Keith Nolan (Carol Ann), Donnie Alden Nolan (Madison); two nieces Maggie and Korena Nolan; one nephew Noeh Cash Nolan Sanford; paternal grandmother Patricia Short of South Point, OH; maternal grandparents Darryl and Donna Nolan of Proctorville, OH; Aint and Unkie Ronita and Brian Lipscomb of South Point, OH; stepdad Robbie Long of Chillicothe; several other great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 and visitation will be one hour before from 11:30-12:30 on Friday January 9, 2026, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, West Virginia. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hall Funeral Home and Crematory to help with services.
