Patricia Kinney Smith's Obituary
Patricia Kinney Smith, 84, of Proctorville, Ohio formerly of Shelton, Connecticut passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at home. She was born July 29, 1934 in Belgrade, Maine daughter of the late George and Beulah Brooks Kinney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Jeffrey L. Smith in 2011; one sister Betty Vaughn; and one brother James Kinney. She was a 1952 graduate of Harding High School in Bridgeport Connecticut. She was a charter member of River Valley Baptist Church in Ansonia, CT. She retired from Sikorsky AirCraft after 25 years of service. She was a resident of Shelton, CT for 50 years. She is survived by three daughters Susan (Tom) Moyer of Proctorville, Ohio, Sheryl (Warren) Groeschel of Modesto, CA and Kristen Smith of Shelton, CT; six grandchildren Erin (Jamin) Cole, Matthew (Andrea) Moyer; Rachel Moyer, Thomas Todd, Alec (Brittani) Groeschel and Grace Groeschel; three great grandchildren Austin and Logan Cole, and Caroline Moyer; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at River Valley Baptist Church in Ansonia, CT at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton, CT 06484 is in charge of arrangements. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of local arrangements.
