Patsy Ann Price's Obituary

Patsy Ann Price, 79, of Proctorville, Ohio, went through the gates of heaven to her eternal home on Sunday, May 19, 2024. She was born on December 21, 1944, to the late Hack and Mary Bentley of Prestonsburg, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Price; sisters, Willa Dean, Bertha, Ruby, and Jacqueline; brothers, Gilbert and Willie, and her beloved granddaughter, Becky Price. Patsy graduated from Prestonsburg High School and attended Alice Lloyd College in Kentucky.
Patsy was married to the love of her life, David H. Price, for 41 years, and faithfully worked alongside of him as he Pastored Fairland Southern Baptist Church for 31 years. She worked for the Cabell County Board of Education and enjoyed interacting with the students at Huntington High while working in the office of the guidance counselor. Patsy was a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church where she served in the visitation ministry.
She is survived by her children, David and Lisa Price of Proctorville, OH, Michael and Lisa Price of Gallipolis, OH, Daniel and Brenda Price of FL, Matthew Price of Hagerstown, MD, and Fred Stone; 6 grandchildren, Sara (Tyler) Payne, Steven, Aaron, Atticus, Aislin, and Dawson, and her great-grandson, Waylon Beck Payne.
Patsy will be greatly missed by The Scrappy Sisters and too many dear friends, cousins, and extended family to mention. When she claimed you as hers, you were loved 110%. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville, OH.
