Paul L Burgess' Obituary
Paul L. Burgess, 79, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, in Arbors of Gallipolis, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born September 16, 1945, in Lawrence County, Ohio son of the late Shirley Taft Burgess and Mary Frances Turley Burgess. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Charles Burgess, Shirley Joe Burgess, Helen Burgess DeVaughn, Ruth Williams, Beverly White, Lyle Burgess and Margaret Dillon. Paul is survived by his children, Paula Ferrell (Steve), David Burgess (Gabe), Brandon (Jessica) Burgess, Adam (Kayla) Burgess and Randy (Amanda) White; ten grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, family, and friends; his loving companion, Thelma Rutt; and two siblings, David Burgess and Dreama DeVaughn. He worked in the construction masonry field. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, also at the funeral home.
