Paul Herbert Haas' Obituary
Paul Herbert Haas, 73, of Crown City, Ohio passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born April 13, 1946 in Ironton, Ohio son of the late Paul and Doris Slaughter Haas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Theresa Haas; a brother Jerry Haas; and a brother-in-law Gene Arthur. He is survived by his wife, Linda Edwards Haas; two children Paul Haas (Merranda) and Liz Ann Zimmerman (Rick); two brothers Merlin (Brenda) Haas and Keith (Julie) Haas; three sisters Nell Arthur, Norma Jean (Pat) Rase and Norma (Harold) Dutey; two step sons Kevin and Adam Edwards; six grandchildren Hailee Haas, Danielle Zimmerman, R.D. Zimmerman, Matthew Edwards, Emilee "Buttons" Edwards and Josie Edwards; sister-in-law Ruth Haas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He retired from GTE and Verizon, and was also a former Lawrence County, Ohio Sheriff Deputy. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio.
