Pauline Evelyn Griffin's Obituary
PAULINE EVELYN GRIFFIN, 88, of Chesapeake, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 25, 2014, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral service will be 12 Noon Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Pauline was born October 31, 1925, in Point Pleasant, WV, a daughter of the late William and Fannie Magone Reynolds. She was a former keypunch operator with C&O Railroad and a self-employed beautician. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Reynolds, Raymond Reynolds, and William Reynolds, Jr.; and one sister, Ida Mae Schneider. Pauline is survived by her husband of 69 years, Lewis Griffin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lewis "Butch" and Janet Griffin of Blacklick, OH, and Terry and Linda Griffin of Chesapeake, OH; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Pat) Pare of West Chester, OH, Stephen (Angie) Griffin of Powell, OH, Suzanne (Tim) Bush of New Albany, OH, Drew (Nikki) Griffin of Chesapeake, OH, Shannon Griffin of New York City, NY, and Cortney (Nick) Robateau of Huntington, WV; and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 Noon Saturday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake, OH.
