Peggy Joyce Kingsbury's Obituary
Peggy Kingsbury, 81, of Chesapeake, OH passed away Tuesday August 14, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was a member of 26th St. Baptist Church in Huntington, WV. Peggy was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Kingsbury Jr., her grandson, Matthew Mann, her parents, Roy and Jewell Mannon-Wyant; her step-father, Ralph Wyant; and one sister-in-law, Wilma Berry. Peggy is survived by her four children, Carolyn "Jeanie" (Mike) Mann of Junction City, KS, Alice (Josh) Shields of Chapman, KS, John (Carla) Kingsbury III of Manassas, VA and Michael (Connie) Kingsbury of Elizabethtown, NC; eight grandchildren, Michael (Lesilie) Mann, Josh Mann, Lacy (Jake) Mann, Lauren Kingsbury, Sean Kingsbury, Drew (Julie) Kingsbury, Zachary Kingsbury and Madison Shields; one step-granddaughter, Tiffany (Kaya) Hill; four great-grandchildren, Mena, Quinton, Christopher and Sean; one sister, Patricia "Peachie" (Jack) Turner of Chesapeake, OH; one brother, Bobby (Joyce) Mannon of Chesapeake, OH; one special sister-in-law, Roberta Kingsbury of Chesapeake, OH; special cousins, Jim and Jenny Benson of Huntington, WV; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Tim Arthur at 1pm on Saturday August 18, 2018 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park in Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held from 6pm - 8pm on Friday August 17, 2018 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideons or the American Cancer Society in memory of Peggy.
