PEGGY JOYCE O'MEARA LYND, 81, of South Point, OH, died Friday August 8, 2014 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice of Huntington. Memorial services will be 11:00AM, August 11, 2014 at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Delmar Adkins officiating. Peggy was born July 16, 1933 in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Jack and Goldie McComas O'Meara. Peggy was a homemaker, sewing, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren and children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son William Earl Lynd, a great grandchild Baby Grace, and four brothers. Peggy is survived by her husband William H. Lynd, four children Greg Lynd of Claremont, NC , Tammy Varney of Huntington, WV, Teresa Runyon of South Point, OH, Jacky Rikard of Claremont, NC and two grandchildren that she raised as her own, William Earl Lynd of Ashland, KY, and Candy Goldie of Ashland, KY ; twelve grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
